Early in 2019 the Village of Niles contacted Arts Alive Chicago to consult on their first mural project. Working thru the spring and summer AAC and the Village of Niles presented an RFP, selected two artists for two projects and began their first mural on the Firehouse west on Dempster. Today October 23rd, 2019 that mural, “Out of the Fire” designed by Cyd Smillie was completed.
