This year Arts Alive Chicago welcomes George Berlin and his live interactive animation playroom; Mansfield Martinez of ManzTV showcasing his digital E-motions, Dirk Matthews curates independent film works, and C3 does it all from photo to photon…all on consecutive weekends in October .

NVAM/AAC Bike Ride Art

Arts Alive Chicago partnered with the National Veterans Art Museum to sponsor an Art Tour/Bike Ride. 6 Corners Bar-B-Que Fest

Arts Alive Chicago partnered with Six Corners Association to invite area artists to design and construct bicycle themed sculptures at their Six Corners Bar-B-Que Fest booth.  The sculptures were then (temporarily) planted in the parkway along Irving Park to promote the idea of bicycles and the incoming bike racks and bike lanes.  

Scars Make Warriors Mural

For Chicago Artists Month in 2013 Arts Alive Chicago and National Veterans Art Museum raised funds with the support of George Karzas and Gale Street Inn to commission 2 murals by 2 veterans one by Phil Cashdollar, a Vietnam vet and this aerosol mural by Jeff Kierna an Afghan War vet.

Tears of War Mural
