Arts Alive Chicago’s Cyd Smillie updated a stretch of N. Milwaukee in Chicago’s Six Corners with Covid related comics designed to relieve some of the anxiety area children were experiencing.
Artist Tony Passero brought his colorful world to life in a new mural at Six Corners with the help of Jerry Rogowski. Tucked behind Jeff’s Red Hots on Cicero it adds color and fun while while it shields the wall from graffiti.

Arts Alive Chicago partnered with Six Corners Association to invite area artists to design and construct bicycle themed sculptures at their Six Corners Bar-B-Que Fest booth. The sculptures were then (temporarily) planted in the parkway along Irving Park to promote the idea of bicycles and the incoming bike racks and bike lanes.
