West Englewood, home of I Grow Chicago’s Peace House and Food Garden hosted its 2nd annual Peace Festival for the community. Arts Alive Chicago brought a “Thoughts of Peace” wall with paper doves to color and comment on and then add to the wall. Joy is a nice feeling.
The first painted mural on a Chicago Public Library was almost lost to sun, wind, rain and age. Thanks to the Bezazian Library leadership this historic mural was revitalized.
